So you may recall that last month I arranged all the legal documentation to be able to perform at Cloudsdale Congress and Big Apple Ponycon in March. I am very happy to announce that my visa application has been APPROVED, and I am 100% confirmed for legally performing…

Please help out if you can! It’s not easy for a Canadian to perform in the US!

How I Could Legally Perform In The States

So, to legally perform in the States, I have to join the AFM through my local division.

And then apply for a P2 Visa for every gig I do.

The dues for the AFM aren’t bad— $129 CAD per year, plus two one-time fees of $30 CAD and $65 CAD.

The P2 visa, however, is $325 USD, plus $100 CAD for AFM to handle it.

So, to legally play one gig in the states, it would cost me close to $700.
